Shocking video footage capturing two teenagers hanging onto the rear of a bus before it merged onto a bustling main road has surfaced. The incident was filmed by a bystander near the Trafford Centre in Manchester. The teenagers, both wearing black coats, clung onto the 52 service bus heading from Failsworth to Trafford for approximately 60 seconds before releasing their grip.
Witnesses claimed that the two boys boarded the bus at a roundabout before it departed, while a third boy was seen running away from the bus in the video. The unidentified person who recorded the incident stated that three boys initially waited at the roundabout for a bus to halt, then hopped onto the bus’s rear. Despite initial difficulties, two of the boys managed to hold on as the bus circled the roundabout and proceeded towards the Trafford Centre. Another bus trailing behind honked to alert the driver to stop.
Transport for Greater Manchester condemned the boys’ actions as “incredibly dangerous,” emphasizing the severe risks involved. A spokesperson warned that such behavior is not only perilous but also constitutes a criminal offense. Parents and guardians were urged to educate their children about the hazards associated with such actions to prevent potential tragedies and legal repercussions.
