Morrisons is offering more than 27 tonnes of carrots for customers to give to Rudolph and his companions.
Customers can receive a complimentary carrot from the “Naturally Wonky” selection between December 20 and Christmas Eve, while supplies last. These carrots might be slightly different in shape or size.
Chris Smith, the Root Veg Senior Trader at Morrisons, stated: “Christmas is a time for spreading happiness and joy, so we are thrilled to provide our young customers with a free wonky carrot to leave out for Rudolph and friends on Christmas Eve.
“Our Naturally Wonky range supports local farmers, minimizes waste, and offers customers an affordable option that still tastes excellent.”
This initiative coincides with major UK supermarkets reducing the prices of Christmas vegetables to just 5p, including potatoes, carrots, parsnips, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts. The complete list of discounted Christmas veggies is available below.
