A tragic incident occurred at a holiday resort on the Costa del Sol, resulting in the death of a man who was thrown from a boat and left behind. The event took place near midday in Puerto Banus, located southwest of Marbella. Reports suggest that the boat involved may have been associated with illicit activities, although official statements from the Civil Guard are pending. Witnesses observed the individuals on the boat abandoning the victim near a fuel station before fleeing the scene. Despite efforts by emergency services, the man was pronounced dead at the site.
Contrary reports surfaced, indicating that the unidentified man, approximately 30 years old, was tossed into the sea close to the filling station before being retrieved and declared deceased. Law enforcement sources mentioned no visible signs of physical assault on the victim.
Footage shared online depicted a presence of National Police and Civil Guard vehicles at the scene, positioned next to the yachts docked in the port, with an ambulance also in attendance. The deceased individual’s body was transported to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Malaga for further investigation. Authorities are not ruling out the possibility that the incident may be linked to drug-related conflicts.
