Some Sky customers are facing an annoying issue with the ITVX app, where programs are skipping to the end randomly. This problem started last week, causing frustration among users as their viewing experience is disrupted without any input.
Users on Sky’s forum page have reported this glitch, with one user named Dazzasky mentioning that ITV Player is fast-forwarding to the end of episodes without warning. Another user, Dawn, also shared a similar experience of programs jumping to the end unexpectedly, causing inconvenience.
The problem seems to affect users with Sky’s online devices like Sky Stream boxes and Glass TVs. It is uncertain if Sky Q is impacted, but most complaints are from users with broadband-connected devices rather than satellite dishes.
Sky employee Kev acknowledged the issue online, assuring users that the company is aware of the problem and is collaborating with ITV to resolve it. Kev expressed understanding for the frustration caused by the issue and promised to update users once a solution is in place.
