A recently discovered photograph featuring Peter Mandelson and Andrew Mountbatten Windsor with Jeffrey Epstein holds a concealed surprise that once noticed, cannot be unseen. Upon initial observation, its resemblance to a previously published image of Mandelson and Epstein in Epstein’s 50th “birthday book” stands out, accompanied by a note from Mandelson declaring Epstein as his “best friend.”
Remarkably, both photos seem to have been captured in the same location and on the same day, albeit from different angles. The newly unveiled picture displays identical chairs and a table, with Epstein dressed in the same attire and Mandelson wearing a white robe. Notably, the orientation of the floorboards in the new photo indicates a 90-degree anti-clockwise shift compared to the birthday book snapshot.
However, the photograph’s hidden gem lies not in its subjects but in its photographer. A close examination of the top left corner reveals a translucent figure’s shoulders adorned in vibrant clothing. Below Epstein’s face, the person’s fingers, likely gripping the camera that took the picture, are visible. The photographer’s reflection hints at the possibility of the image being captured through a window facing the deck or being a reflection in a picture frame’s glass.
Epstein had a penchant for framing and exhibiting photos of himself with prominent individuals in his residences. Although no other evidence of this photo being showcased has surfaced, its presence among images from the 2010s despite presumably being taken around 1999 or 2000 raises intrigue. While not definitive, the partially visible face of the individual resembles Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s former girlfriend and accomplice, who maintained connections with Andrew, Mandelson, and Epstein.
