The family visited Our Big Kitchen in Los Angeles, a charitable organization supplying meals to those in need across the city. In a video shared by the Duchess of Sussex on Instagram, the couple and their kids were seen happily assisting in food preparation alongside other children.
During the visit, Harry and Meghan were captured baking cookies, cutting vegetables, and packaging meals for delivery before Thanksgiving on November 27. Meghan was seen smiling while holding hands with Lilibet, as Harry packed food items into containers.
In a caption accompanying the video, Meghan emphasized their motto, “Show up. Do Good,” which reflects the ethos of the Sussexes’ Archewell Foundation. Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles is one of the non-profits supported by Archewell, established by Meghan and Harry in 2020 after their transition from senior working royals.
The foundation’s website highlighted the couple’s involvement in preparing and packaging meals for community members facing food insecurity. The meals produced during the session were distributed to various local organizations aiding those in need, reinforcing the foundation’s commitment to community service.
Harry and Meghan, along with Archie and Lilibet, currently reside in a $30 million mansion in Montecito, California. It remains uncertain when the Duke of Sussex will next return to the UK, making it unlikely for him to join the Royal Family for Christmas. His most recent visit was in September, where he had a brief meeting with King Charles at Clarence House.
