“Darts Champ Luke Littler Declines Jungle Trek”

Must read

Luke Littler has made it clear that he has no intention of following his friend Angry Ginge into the jungle despite the YouTuber’s recent success on a reality TV show set around a campfire.

The darts champion, known as “The Nuke,” congratulated Angry Ginge, also known as Morgan Burtwistle, on his victory in the show “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.” However, Littler, who is gearing up to defend his Professional Darts Corporation title at Alexandra Palace, firmly stated that he will not participate in the challenging bushtucker trials featured on the show.

The 18-year-old from Warrington expressed his reluctance to endure tasks like eating kangaroo anus or crocodile penis for entertainment purposes. Littler emphasized that despite considering it initially for the right compensation, after watching the show, he has decided that he would never subject himself to such experiences, citing the distance from home and the unappetizing food challenges as significant deterrents.

Reflecting on the intense challenges faced by contestants, Littler reaffirmed his stance, stating that witnessing what other participants had to endure, particularly in the initial trials, solidified his decision to steer clear of such situations in the future.

Burtwistle, aged 24, emerged victorious as the King of the Jungle following his three-week stint in the Australian rainforest, with Tom Read Wilson and Eastenders actress Shona McGarty securing second and third place, respectively.

In the final bushtucker trial, Angry Ginge faced daunting challenges such as snakes and critters in the “Helmet of Hell” task, while Read Wilson consumed unusual delicacies like camel’s brain and pig’s vagina.

Despite not venturing into the jungle, Littler celebrated his friend’s triumph by attending a Manchester United match at Molineux, where the team secured a 4-1 victory against Wolves. The world No.1 darts player was even spotted on TV cameras alongside Rick McGagh, the head of fan engagement at Manchester United.

United captain Bruno Fernandes acknowledged Littler’s presence at the game, responding to his tweet about enjoying his “first away day” with a darts emoji.
