A teenage boy has been attacked by a trio of machete-wielding thugs in a terrifying attack in broad daylight. Filmed by a local resident next to Pennyfields Park in Tower Hamlets, east London, the shocking footage beings with the teenager being thrown to the floor by one of three hooded men, before being dragged by his foot and punched in a park.
The clip pans away, before going back to the attack where a thug is seen swinging at the victim with a huge blade. Another aggressive man is seen with what appeared to be a small axe.
The boy is left on the grass as the trio leave, making sure their hoods are pulled up in a bid to avoid being identified. They are seen trying to hide their weapons within their clothes as they walk away.
A shocked onlooker filmed the horror attack on their mobile phone and recorded the tracksuit wearing gang as they calmly left the scene.
The boy was taken to a major trauma centre with stab wounds. Police later confirmed his injuries were not life-threatening.
“A Met Police spokesman said: “On Wednesday at 5.45pm police were called to Pennyfields Park, Poplar following reports of a stabbing. Police attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated a boy for stab wounds.
