LEGOLAND Windsor is offering a special event, Paws in the Park, on December 21 and 28, where dogs are welcome to join their owners for the Christmas celebrations at the theme park. While dogs may not be interested in LEGO bricks, they can enjoy the festive ambiance and explore the park while owners partake in various rides, Christmas shows, and the Elf Training Academy.
For dog owners who want to treat their furry friends, Santa’s Grotto in the Christmas Kingdom welcomes dogs after 5 pm, giving them a chance to meet Santa Paws. To bring a dog to the park, owners need to purchase a £10 Pet Pass in addition to human tickets and adhere to certain guidelines such as keeping dogs on a lead and bringing their food and snacks, although water points are available throughout the park.
Paws in the Park is part of LEGOLAND’s Christmas festivities, running until January 4, transforming the park into a winter wonderland adorned with Christmas decorations. Various rides are operational during the holiday season, including The Dragon rollercoaster and the LEGO City Driving School, with attractions like the DUPLO Dino Coaster and the LEGOLAND Express train for younger visitors.
Guests can meet LEGO versions of Santa and his elves, visit Santa in person at the grotto, and receive a special LEGO gift. The park offers entertainment such as the Festival of Flurries show, encouraging audience participation, and the Nutcracker’s Marching Band playing festive tunes.
Beyond the Christmas celebrations at LEGOLAND Windsor, other LEGO-themed parks exist in Europe, with LEGOLAND Deutschland in Germany planning to introduce a new Harry Potter-themed area featuring rides and accommodation, set to be revealed in the coming year.
