“Putin’s Nuclear Torpedo Test Sparks Global Concern”

Must read

Vladimir Putin has conducted a successful test of a nuclear torpedo with the capability to devastate extensive coastlines, labeling it a major achievement. The Russian leader revealed that the new weapon, comparable to those held in the nuclear arsenals of the US and UK, could trigger radioactive tsunamis leading to the uninhabitability of entire coastlines. Putin expressed pride in the test, highlighting the successful launch from a carrier submarine and activation of the nuclear power unit, marking a significant milestone.

The torpedo, named Poseidon, was lauded by Putin for surpassing the power of the Russian-developed Sarmat intercontinental missile, also known as the SS-X-29 or Satan II. The recent test follows a series of military demonstrations, including Russia’s recent activation of the “Flying Chernobyl” just days ago.

Additionally, Russia’s senior military official confirmed the successful testing of a low-flying experimental cruise missile known as the Burevestnik, dubbed “Skyfall” by NATO. General Valery Gerasimov highlighted the missile’s capabilities in evading defense systems and asserted its accuracy in targeting heavily protected sites at any distance.

The test is viewed as a strategic move by Russia, possibly directed at Donald Trump following the breakdown of plans for a meeting in Budapest concerning the conflict in Ukraine. Trump responded by referencing the presence of a US nuclear submarine near the Russian coast, downplaying the significance of Russia’s missile test and urging Putin to focus on resolving ongoing conflicts rather than engaging in missile testing activities.
