“Sky Introduces Sky One Channel, Debuts Tomorrow”

Sky has recently announced modifications to its TV channel lineup, with changes set to take effect shortly. Among the alterations, Sky Showcase and Sky Max will no longer be airing content as of Tuesday, February 24. However, to compensate, Sky is reintroducing the beloved Sky One channel.

Scheduled to launch tomorrow, Sky One will feature a variety of comedy and entertainment programs for subscribers to enjoy. Viewers can anticipate new shows like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby. Additionally, familiar favorites such as Rob & Romesh Vs.., The Paper, and Ted will also be part of the lineup.

Moreover, Sky One is set to host Saturday Night Live UK later this year, adding to its diverse content offerings. Carli Kerr, the Managing Director of Sky TV & NOW, expressed excitement about the channel’s return. Kerr stated that Sky One aims to provide customers with easy access to their favorite shows while offering a vibrant mix of new and returning content.

The official launch of Sky One is scheduled for tomorrow, February 24, on channel 106. In addition to this channel debut, Sky has revealed a new subscription plan called Ultimate TV. Priced at £24 per month, customers will gain access to Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app, coming next month.

Furthermore, subscribers to the Ultimate TV plan will enjoy over 130 premium channels, including Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime, and Sky History. As an added bonus, Sky Cinema users will now have a dedicated Disney movie channel integrated into the TV guide for convenient viewing of Hollywood hits without needing to open the Disney+ app.

– Netflix Standard with Ads
– Disney+ Standard with Ads (from March)
– HBO Max Basic with Ads (from March 26th)
– Hayu (from July, with select shows available from March)
– PLUS: Over 130 channels from Sky
