Must read

Sky customers in the UK are in for a treat as HBO Max, a new streaming service, has been launched with exclusive benefits. Subscribers with a Sky Ultimate TV package can now enjoy top titles like Game of Thrones, Friends, Dune, Succession, and Young Sheldon without the usual £4.99 monthly fee, saving over £50. Sky confirmed that Sky Ultimate TV, Sky Glass, and Sky Q customers with the right package will receive HBO Max Basic with Ads included in their subscription.

HBO Max offers a vast library of popular HBO dramas and Max Originals, including favorites like Succession and The Wire, as well as new releases such as The Pitt. Additionally, viewers can access a wide range of Warner Bros. films. To get started, customers simply need to launch the HBO Max app from the homepage and follow the on-screen instructions for activation, making all content available for on-demand streaming.

For those not on the Sky Ultimate TV plan, switching to it is an option starting at £22 per month, which will increase to £24 from April 1st. This package not only includes over 130 Sky channels but also provides access to Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and the upcoming Hayu service.

Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, highlighted the significance of this new offering, emphasizing the integration of Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu in a single subscription, marking a new era for Sky and NOW. NOW Entertainment customers will also receive HBO Max at no additional cost, seamlessly integrated into the NOW app.

For non-Sky subscribers interested in HBO Max, they can sign up directly on the HBO Max website, with Standard with Ads plans starting at £5.99.
