Teaching Assistant Accused of Sexual Relations with Teen

Must read

A woman who worked as a teaching assistant is accused of engaging in sexual activities with a teenage boy after exchanging flirtatious messages with him when he was 12 years old.

Stephanie Jensen, 41, allegedly admitted to investigators that she became flirtatious with the victim when he was 12 years old while working as a teacher’s aide. The victim claimed that Jensen was aware of his age as she taught him in year two when he was in year eight, and they would encounter each other at school.

The victim stated that he had sexual relations with Jensen in September 2024 before he turned 16 and confirmed this because he did not have a driver’s license at the time. Allegedly, Jensen engaged in sexual activities with him on four other occasions between the ages of 15 and 17.

The encounters reportedly took place at Faith Lutheran School in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, as per WBAY. The victim mentioned that Jensen sent him explicit photos during that period and allegedly shared nude images with his underage friends as well.

According to a complaint obtained by the network, the victim disclosed that Jensen not only sent him nude pictures but also shared explicit content with his friends. He claimed that word spread among his circle, leading people he knew to add her to see what she would send them.

Upon being questioned by detectives at her residence, Jensen denied having sexual relations with the teenager but acknowledged sending explicit photos and videos.

When informed of her arrest, Jensen allegedly refuted the claim and resisted standing up from the couch, requiring officers to assist her. She reportedly struggled as officers handcuffed her and attempted to pull away until instructed to stop.

Jensen is facing charges of possessing child pornography, multiple counts of child enticement, exposing intimate body parts to a child, and 2nd-degree sexual assault of a child.

Faith Lutheran School released a statement to WBAY, announcing the termination of Stephanie Jensen’s employment following the formal filing of charges. The school affirmed its commitment to the well-being and safety of its students, staff, and community members, expressing prayers for all affected parties and emphasizing faith in a higher power.
