Tesco has announced a special offer for Clubcard members this December, granting two points for every £1 spent on gift cards. The promotion is valid throughout the month at all Tesco stores and applies to third-party gift cards as well, not just Tesco-branded ones. The extra points will be automatically credited to the Clubcard account.
Ban Mahsoub, the Partnerships Director at Tesco Insurance and Money Services, emphasized the convenience of the offer, stating, “With two points per £1 spent on gift cards, you can give a gift they’ll love and earn rewards for yourself. It’s a win-win situation.”
Tesco’s Clubcard program boasts approximately 24 million members. Members earn one point for every £1 spent on groceries in-store or online, or for every two liters of fuel purchased at Tesco petrol stations. Additional points accrue for spending on Tesco Mobile services and Tesco credit cards, with each £1 or £4 spent respectively equating to one point. Moreover, using a Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card earns one point for every £1 spent. To redeem points, a minimum of 150 points is required, which can then be exchanged for a £1.50 Clubcard voucher to use at Tesco.
In related news, Jordon Cox, known as the Coupon King, shared a money-saving tip revealing a method to identify when a deal is about to expire at Tesco. Cox, a regular on ITV’s This Morning, advised looking for a six-digit number on items on Clubcard Price promotion, with specific digits indicating the deal’s expiration date. By decoding this number, shoppers can plan their purchases strategically and save money on their shopping trips.
This strategy aligns with Tesco’s ongoing efforts to provide value and savings to its customers, enhancing the shopping experience for Clubcard members.
