Trump Warns Putin Over “Flying Chernobyl” Missile

Must read

In a recent development, a newly unveiled Russian nuclear weapon, known as the “Flying Chernobyl,” is causing concern as President Donald Trump issues a strong warning to Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Putin has described the missile as unbeatable and has sent a direct message to the UK following Russia’s successful testing of the missile last week. The missile, named 9M730 Burevestnik, also known as SSC-X-9 Skyfall by Nato, was tested recently, showcasing its nuclear capabilities and virtually unlimited range due to its nuclear-powered design.

Putin proudly declared Russia’s possession of the most advanced nuclear forces globally, emphasizing the successful secret flight of the Burevestnik missile. This revelation prompted a sharp response from President Trump, urging Putin to focus on resolving the ongoing conflict in Ukraine rather than testing missiles. The tension escalated as Trump hinted at imposing additional sanctions on Russia in response to Putin’s actions.

The missile, hailed by Putin as a unique and powerful weapon, has demonstrated its capabilities by covering a vast distance of 8,700 miles during a 15-hour flight. Referred to as the “Flying Chernobyl,” the missile’s nuclear-powered propulsion sets it apart from other weapons in the world. Despite differing opinions on the effectiveness of the missile, concerns have been raised about its potential threat, especially due to its radioactive exhaust emissions.

The Russian military leadership confirmed the successful test flight of the missile, indicating that it is nearing deployment readiness after overcoming previous technical challenges. Putin’s assertive display of military might coincides with the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, further heightening international tensions. The recent attack in Kyiv resulting in casualties underscores the escalating situation in the region.

Amid these developments, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk warns of potential risks to Nato countries, including Britain, if the Kremlin decides to use its advanced missile capabilities. Tusk highlighted the need for vigilance and readiness in the face of escalating threats posed by Russia. The international community remains on edge as geopolitical tensions continue to rise, fuelled by recent military actions and provocations.
