When questioned by CNN’s Kristen Holmes about Trump’s recent MRI, Leavitt referenced a previous physical examination report that attested to the President’s optimal health status. Despite Holmes highlighting the specificity of an MRI procedure compared to a routine check-up, Leavitt reiterated Trump’s good health and promised to provide additional information if needed.
Speculation surrounding Trump’s health has intensified in recent weeks due to both public appearances and absences. Reports revealed bruises on his hands and swollen ankles, although his doctor indicated in October that his cardiac age is significantly younger than his actual age.
In a yearly check-up at Walter Reed Medical Centre, Trump was affirmed to be in exceptional health by his doctor, Navy Captain Sean Barbabella, who praised the President’s robust cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and physical performance.
