“Husband Pushes Pregnant Wife off Cliff for Life Insurance”

Must read

A husband, Hakan Aysal, 40, is currently imprisoned for pushing his 32-year-old pregnant wife, Semra Aysal, off a 1,000-foot cliff in Butterfly Valley, Mugla, Turkey. The tragic incident occurred shortly after the couple took photos together. The court revealed that the victim, who was seven months pregnant, was deliberately killed by her husband to benefit from a life insurance policy he had acquired.

Aysal deceitfully convinced his wife, who had a fear of heights, to the edge of the cliff under the pretense of taking a selfie before callously pushing her off. They spent hours on the slope before the fatal push, with no witnesses present. The suspicions arose when photos of the couple were circulated, prompting another individual’s memory of seeing them.

A passerby captured a chilling video of the couple near the cliff’s edge. Following the heinous act, Aysal attempted to claim a £40,000 insurance payout from a policy he had recently obtained. However, authorities became suspicious when he pursued the money shortly after his wife’s death.

Bank records later revealed that Aysal had taken out loans in his wife’s name and embarked on a lavish lifestyle after her demise. He was indicted for premeditated murder, and the court sentenced him to serve a minimum of 30 years before parole consideration.

During the trial, witnesses described Aysal as composed and carefree, even as he sought assistance after his wife fell. He did not actively participate in the search for her body. While serving his sentence, Aysal attempted to sue numerous individuals for online insults against him in a bid to secure financial gains for his future release.
