Sky has revealed upcoming price adjustments for certain broadband and TV subscribers starting in April. Broadband users will face a monthly increase of £3, while premium TV package rates will go up by £1 to £3. Sky will notify customers about these changes starting today.
Under Sky’s variable pricing system, customers under a minimum contract can cancel their package without early termination fees. The revised prices will take effect from April. On a positive note, millions of TV customers will have access to HBO Max, Disney+, and Hayu included in their standard packages starting next month.
In addition, Netflix is already part of the package, bringing the total value of streaming apps to £20 per month. A Sky spokesperson stated that the price adjustments are necessary to support investments in fast broadband, premium entertainment, live sports, and reliable services while managing industry cost increases.
Last week, Sky Mobile customers experienced bill increases, with most bills rising by £1.50 monthly, equivalent to an annual increase of £18. The new charges will be reflected in bills from February 14, 2026, marking Sky Mobile’s first price change for in-contract customers in over seven years. Customers under contract can cancel without penalties if they are dissatisfied with the price hike.
Notably, the price of the Sky Mobile social tariff for low-income individuals will remain unchanged. For those out of contract, it may be beneficial to compare prices online to potentially save money on mobile and broadband services. Analyzing current usage patterns for minutes, texts, and broadband speed can help avoid overpaying for unused allowances. Switching providers or negotiating for better deals with the current provider are also viable options to reduce costs.
