Center Parcs Longford Forest in Ireland is undergoing a significant expansion with a €100 million investment to introduce new treehouse accommodations and exciting attractions. The park is set to add 83 new lodges, including unique two-story tree houses with amenities like hot tubs and gaming dens. Additionally, 80 new lodges are now available for booking, featuring options for larger groups, adapted lodges, and dog-friendly accommodations.
Moreover, the park will introduce a thrilling aerial zipline called Forest Glider, described as a continuous-loop, gravity-fed ride. Other recent additions include two escape rooms, The Plant Room and Forest Laboratory, offering interactive activities for families. A lakeside restaurant is also slated to be added to the site.
Center Parcs Longford Forest, which welcomed one million guests since opening in 2019, boasts a range of attractions such as the Subtropical Swimming Paradise, which is the largest waterpark in Ireland. The park offers various water activities including the Wild Water Rapids and the Tropical Cyclone ride. Plans for a new Center Parcs site near Hawick, Scotland, with a budget of £350 million, have also been announced.
