A young girl tragically passed away after becoming unwell in a car park in Aberdeen, just one day before her ninth birthday. Emergency services responded to the incident at Kingwells Park and Ride on Skene Road when eight-year-old Olivia Grace Edwards fell ill around 8:40 pm on Saturday. Despite being rushed to the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
To support Olivia’s family in covering funeral expenses, a GoFundMe campaign has been initiated by family friend Kathryn Campbell. Describing Olivia as a beautiful, funny, and sweet child, the fundraiser aims to alleviate some of the financial burden on her grieving parents, Mark and Georgina.
Olivia is survived by her parents and sisters, Nieve and Hollie, according to the Daily Record.
