The group’s Instagram account outlines their demands, which include banning tourist rentals across the island, reducing rental prices for locals by 50%, and creating more secure job opportunities in the labor market.
Concerns have arisen in the hospitality sector due to a decline in customer numbers, prompting discussions about implementing a discount voucher scheme to encourage more patrons to dine at local restaurants.
