Must read

Jet2 has introduced a fresh route to a stunning island boasting ancient streets, traditional villages, and pristine beaches, providing a serene atmosphere away from bustling crowds. The airline has expanded its summer 2027 offerings from London Gatwick and inaugurated a new service to the picturesque Greek island of Lesvos. Situated in the northeastern Aegean Sea, Lesvos, also known as Lesbos, features turquoise waters, unspoiled expansive beaches, hot springs, lush forests, and striking volcanic sceneries.

As the third-largest island in Greece, Lesvos, with its capital Mytilini, is steeped in history, showcasing charming medieval alleys, authentic Mediterranean hamlets, and captivating architecture. It is famous for its ouzo, an anise-flavored spirit, and abundant olive groves, with over 11 million trees dotting the island.

The latest Jet2 route to Lesvos will operate on Sundays from May 2 to October 10, 2027, with fares starting from £123. Travelers can already book flights to this Greek island, known for its scorching temperatures reaching 30°C during summer months.

Additionally, Jet2 has announced a significant sale for 35 sun-soaked destinations, including Lesvos, catering to holidaymakers flying from London Gatwick next summer. This exclusive route to Lesvos and the summer sale coincide with the upcoming launch of flights and vacation packages from London Gatwick on March 26, marking a significant move to offer passengers more flexibility for their holiday escapades.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, expressed enthusiasm over the overwhelming response to the launch of flights and holidays from London Gatwick, highlighting the increased demand for their top-notch services. He emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding its program to provide travelers with diverse options and early booking opportunities for Summer 2027. This development signifies an exciting time for both the company and customers in the region.
