A twisted murderer was apprehended for dismembering victims and discarding their bodies near the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge.
Yostin Andres Mosquera, a porn actor aged 35, viciously killed Alberto Alfonso, 62, by slashing his throat during a recorded sexual encounter in Shepherd’s Bush, West London, on July 8 of the previous year. Mosquera then bludgeoned Alfonso’s partner, Paul Longworth, 71, to death with a hammer before trying to rob them.
Staying at the victims’ residence, Mosquera, a Colombian national, beheaded and dismembered the couple, placing their heads in a freezer and transporting the rest of their bodies in suitcases to Bristol. He attempted to flee when bridge personnel noticed leakage from a suitcase he was carrying, leading to his arrest at Bristol Temple Meads railway station.
During the court proceedings, Prosecutor Deanna Heer KC stated that Mosquera schemed in advance to murder the victims for theft, using a hammer on Longworth and a knife on Alfonso.
Regarding the filmed murder of Alfonso during a sexual act, Heer mentioned that Mosquera waited until the activity began before carrying out the killing. Mosquera even danced naked as Alfonso bled out, showcasing a final act of disrespect.
The judge, Mr. Justice Bennathan, emphasized the affectionate relationship between Longworth and Alfonso, describing the murders as premeditated and heinously wicked. Mosquera received a sentence of 40 years and 264 days at Woolwich Crown Court, having also pleaded guilty to child pornography charges.
