Paedophile Jeffrey Epstein had connections with far-right activist Tommy Robinson and engaged in sharing offensive Holocaust-related jokes through private emails unveiled by US lawmakers. In one email, Epstein praised Robinson’s release from jail in 2018, while in another, he made disturbing references to historical events like Kristallnacht and Auschwitz in relation to the 2018 mid-term elections.
The released documents shed light on a previously undisclosed aspect of Epstein’s involvement with Right-wing movements on both sides of the Atlantic. His emails reveal a wide network of political contacts spanning from American figures to European diplomats, academics, and officials from various countries like Russia and Saudi Arabia, with discussions on promoting populist movements in Europe.
Epstein was in communication with prominent individuals such as Steve Bannon, where he encouraged efforts to boost conservative movements in Europe and offered advice on strategic moves within the political landscape. He supported the idea of a Right-wing resurgence in Europe but emphasized the need for significant time and personal engagement for its success.
Furthermore, Epstein presented himself as a global influencer with access to powerful leaders worldwide, boasting of interactions with Arab League leaders and even receiving gifts from influential figures like Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia. He positioned himself as a mediator to the Kremlin, suggesting meetings between Russian officials and himself before critical international summits.
As scrutiny on Epstein increased, he framed himself as a target in a larger political scheme aimed at undermining President Trump, believing he held information that could potentially harm Trump. Ultimately, Epstein’s life ended in 2019 while awaiting trial on charges related to sex trafficking, officially ruled as a suicide.
