“EE Introduces Data Parachute Feature in New SIM Plans”

Must read

EE has introduced new SIM plans to address a common issue faced by many customers – running out of data while on the move due to increased file downloads and streaming activities like Netflix. The latest pay-as-you-go SIMs from EE will now include a feature called “Data Parachute,” offering users a free 1GB data boost when they unexpectedly run out.

According to EE, the “Data Parachute” feature aims to help customers stay connected for essential tasks such as communicating with friends or using navigation apps until they can top up their data. These new plans, starting at £10 per month, come with additional benefits like data rollover, which carries over unused data to the next month, and free data boosts to enhance customer allowances.

In addition, EE pay-as-you-go customers can enjoy access to the 5G network for improved performance and faster speeds. The pricing for the new plans is as follows:
– £10 for 20GB
– £15 for 75GB
– £20 for 150GB
– £30 for 200GB
– £35 for Unlimited data

While other providers may not offer a feature like Data Parachute, there are competitive deals in the market. For instance, SMARTY provides 80GB for £8 per month or Unlimited data for £20, while Giffgaff offers 75GB for £10 per month and 60GB for £13. It is advisable for customers to compare deals and choose the amount of data they actually need to avoid unnecessary costs.

By staying informed and selecting the most suitable plan, customers can ensure they have access to the data they require without overspending.
