A devastating tornado in Brazil with winds reaching 155mph has resulted in the tragic loss of six lives and significant destruction. Emergency services have attended to hundreds of injured individuals, including children and pregnant women, with some requiring surgical procedures. The storm’s impact was deeply felt by local businesses, like Roselei Dalcandon’s shop, which was reduced to ruins.
President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva extended his sympathies to the affected families and pledged support for the recovery efforts. A coordinated response involving various government agencies is underway to provide assistance and aid to the affected communities in Paraná.
