Christmas is swiftly approaching, but not all are in high spirits, as a traditional favorite chocolate has been omitted. No holiday setting is complete without a box of Miniature Heroes to enjoy, ideally by a warm fire while watching a familiar Christmas movie. Each person has their preferred treat, ensuring harmony during this festive period. Some crave the Dairy Milk Caramel, while others seek the satisfying crunch of the Crunchie.
The beloved Cadbury’s Eclair has long been a popular choice for those who savor their sweets slowly. However, much to the dismay of many, the Eclair has been replaced by the controversial Flake. Critics argue that the Flake’s texture is too similar to the Twirl, which is already present in the assortment.
While some mourn the loss of the Eclair, others rejoice at the change, labeling it a victory. Cadbury’s move to introduce paper tubs in select Tesco stores aims to reduce plastic waste. These new tubs will feature Flakes instead of Eclairs, with the plastic tubs remaining unchanged. The paper tubs are part of Cadbury’s global initiative to reduce packaging waste and will be available for a limited time starting late October.
Brand manager for Cadbury, Christina Bland, expressed excitement about the trial of paper tubs and the addition of Cadbury Flake to the assortment. The trial aims to explore new packaging solutions and introduce a fresh favorite for consumers to enjoy.
