“Brothers Vandalize UK Home, Sentenced for Damage”

Must read

Two brothers were captured on video vandalizing a woman’s residence by throwing objects through the windows. The incident took place in the seaside village of Seasalter, Whitstable, in the UK. Alistair, 33, aggressively banged on the door while Harry, 32, stood in the garden as they launched items at the house.

Despite demanding the occupants to come outside, no one responded to their threats. The brothers left but returned half an hour later, shouting and banging on the door again. Alistair could be heard yelling profanities and urging the residents to leave the house. They proceeded to throw objects from the garden at the windows, causing significant damage estimated at £350.

Following the incident, Harry stole the Ring doorbell before they fled. The police arrested the brothers, with Harry confessing to criminal damage and theft, while Alistair admitted to criminal damage but was not charged for the theft. In court, it was revealed that they were looking for a former partner of the homeowner.

During the sentencing hearing, Harry received a 12-month community order, 50 hours of unpaid work, £175 compensation to the homeowner, and £357 in fines and costs. Alistair, who has a brain condition, was deemed unsuitable for unpaid work and was placed on an 18-month community order with specific conditions.

The property was later destroyed by fire, but the brothers were cleared of any involvement. The court proceedings concluded on October 22, with both men receiving their sentences.
