Sci-fi enthusiasts are puzzled by a recent sighting of what seems to be an unidentified flying object (UFO) near an active volcano. Video footage captured by a webcam shows a glowing object hovering over the Popocatepetl volcano in Mexico, before swiftly flying away at high speeds. The strange object appeared to be observing the volcanic activity as smoke and flames emanated from the crater. The event was recorded by monitoring cameras located at the base of the volcano.
Popocatepetl, standing at 17,802 feet (5,426 meters) above sea level, is among Mexico’s most active volcanoes. Despite the visual evidence, local authorities have not made any official statements regarding the origin of the mysterious flying craft.
According to the National Center for Disaster Prevention, there were 19 minor eruptions with vapor, gases, and traces of ash on the same day. They have advised the public to maintain a safe distance from the crater and adhere to the 12-kilometer exclusion zone.
UFO expert Jaime Maussan previously suggested that Popocatepetl might serve as an “inter-dimensional portal,” facilitating travel between different realms. Maussan explained that the extreme temperatures within the volcano make it unlikely for any human-made object to enter. He referenced the research by the University of Bergen that identified magnetic storms beneath the volcano capable of creating X-points, essential for generating a Dimensional Portal.

The crash involving an aircraft from the 432nd wing at Creech Air Force Base sparked speculations among UFO enthusiasts, who criticized the heightened security measures at the site. The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed implementing a temporary flight restriction near Area 51 for national security reasons following the crash, while additional details remain undisclosed.
