British Airways is currently offering flights to Madrid, Spain, and Toulon, France, for a mere £2 each to combat the winter blues. These exclusive £2 flights are accessible only to members of The British Airways Club using Avios points. Departing from London City Airport, travelers can enjoy the sunny skies and scenic beauty of Madrid and Toulon for a fraction of the usual cost.
Tickets are now available for booking starting at £2 plus 21,500 Avios for Toulon and £2 plus 28,000 Avios for Madrid, inclusive of 23kg checked baggage. Toulon is a fresh addition to British Airways’ summer destinations, offering a chance to explore its charming harbor. On the other hand, Madrid remains a popular choice with its vibrant art scene and exquisite architecture.
British Airways introduced Avios-Only flights in 2023, having operated 48 such flights to 16 destinations, including Cape Town, Barbados, and Marrakesh. The upcoming Madrid-London flight will mark the airline’s 50th Avios-Only service. Colm Lacy, British Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, expressed enthusiasm for these summer flights, emphasizing the benefits for loyal customers.
Adam Daniels, IAG Loyalty’s CEO, highlighted the significance of loyalty and redemption opportunities for customers through Avios-Only bookings to Toulon and Madrid. For more details or to secure a seat, interested individuals can visit the British Airways website.
