Despite facing a cyber attack in 2025 that disrupted online shopping for months, M&S maintained its top spot. Following M&S in the top five are IKEA, Samsung, John Lewis, and Netflix.

In terms of improvement, the Post Office was recognized as the most improved brand due to increased satisfaction and a better public image post the Horizon IT scandal. Royal Mail and Fujitsu secured the second and third spots for most improved brands.

On a global scale, WhatsApp emerged as the top brand, driven by strong performance in countries like India and Indonesia. It was followed by Samsung, YouTube, and Google in the global rankings.

CEO and Co-founder of YouGov, Stephan Shakespeare, emphasized the importance of strong brand connections and consumer appeal. He commended the recognized brands for their lasting impact on consumers.

Stuart Machin, CEO of M&S, expressed gratitude for being named the UK’s Best Brand for the fourth consecutive year, attributing the achievement to customer feedback. Machin credited the hard work of the M&S team and expressed a commitment to continuous improvement and seizing future opportunities.
