A brutal drug cartel is compelling fresh members to engage in cannibalism and carry out decapitations in its notorious training facilities. The Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) has rapidly expanded its presence in Mexico, particularly in the western regions, where it conducts violent acts to assert dominance. The cartel has demonstrated its brutality by downing an army helicopter, eliminating numerous state officials, and publicly displaying the bodies of its victims on bridges to instill fear in its adversaries.
Recruits of the CJNG undergo intensive training at secret camps in rural areas, where they are instructed in combat techniques and firearm usage. Additionally, over a span of three to four months, members are coerced into becoming cannibals. An insider revealed that new recruits are initiated by being taught to dismember victims’ extremities, with a gruesome ritual of choosing a body part to consume in front of their superiors.
Once loyalty is proven, members advance to learning how to dismember entire bodies. An individual, known only as Francisco, recounted being deceived into joining a training camp and forced to participate in horrific acts under threat. The cartel uses such extreme methods not only to toughen new members but also to instill terror in local communities and maintain control over the drug trade.
Recent incidents include a pregnant woman and two others left severely injured with severed hands after being accused of theft by the CJNG. Their mutilated bodies were discovered in Guanajuato, with a chilling message attached warning against criminal behavior. Moreover, the cartel has been known to dissolve victims’ bodies in acid baths to erase evidence of their crimes. In a shocking case, a Mexican rapper confessed to dissolving the bodies of three missing film students under the cartel’s orders, mistaking them for rival gang members.
The CJNG’s use of such barbaric tactics underscores its ruthless nature and its willingness to commit heinous acts to maintain power and instill fear among its enemies and the general populace.
